Weiler Whiskey Product Launch

Logo and label design for a new release of whiskey at Dayton Barrel Works. The Weiler family in Dayton, OH has a rich 100 year history of welding dating back to 1920. “James C. Weiler, a 4th generation co-owner of what today is known as ‘Weiler Group Inc.’ in Dayton, OH, helped open a distillery in 2020. Together, James and the operators of the distillery agreed to develop a brand to pay homage to 125 years of the “Weiler” name doing business in Dayton, OH. This brand became ‘Weiler Reserve’. Weiler Reserve is a passion project intended to honor a legacy in a town know for innovation and entrepreneurism” (Weiler Reserve website). With this rich history in mind, the label has a metal texture and gold color, and the logo is inspired by the Weiler Group Inc. symbol. Both of which pay homage to the welding business and the family history.
